He is Dean and Professor of Medicine at Britain’s first independent Medical School at the University of Buckingham and a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. He has published over 300 papers and written or edited 20 books including Treatment of Cancer - the standard British postgraduate textbook, now in its sixth edition. Nina Bhardwaj, MD, PhD, holds the Ward-Coleman chair in cancer research and is a professor of medicine, hematology, and oncology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Bhardwaj, director of immunotherapy at The Tisch Cancer Institute, is an immunologist who has made seminal contributions to human dendritic cell biology, specifically with respect to their isolation, subset discovery, immunobiology, antigen presenting function, and use as vaccine adjuvants in humans. Dr. Bhardwaj brings expertise in human immunology and a variety of immune therapies, having developed toll-like receptor (TLR) agonist- and dendritic cell-based vaccines for the treatment of both cancer and infection in several investigator-initiated studies, and, more recently, introduction of neoantigen vaccines into the clinic. Dr. Bhardwaj is also the founder and medical director of the Vaccine and Cell Therapy Lab at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the first enterprise of its kind in the New York region. Dr. Bhardwaj has attracted multiple federal and foundation grants and has authored over 250 publications.

Dr. Carpten serves as professor and chair, Department of Translational Genomics and director, Institute for Translational Genomics, USC Keck School of Medicine. His expertise spans a broad range of research disciplines, including germline genetics, tumor profiling, cancer cell biology, functional genomics, and health disparities. His research aims to discover molecular alterations in cancer and translate these findings into new approaches for prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. His program investigates the development and application of cutting-edge technologies and novel bioinformatics approaches for discovery research. His work has impacted our understanding of a variety of cancer types: prostate, breast, colon, brain, pediatric, and multiple myeloma. Dr. Carpten has co-authored over 200 peer-reviewed articles in journals including Science, Nature, Nature Genetics, Cancer Cell, Cancer Research, Molecular Cancer Therapeutics, and The New England Journal of Medicine. In 2021, he was elected as a Fellow of the AACR Academy, and serves on the NCI Board of Scientific Counselors and the Scientific Advisory Board for Break Through Cancer. He received his PhD in molecular, cellular, and developmental biology from The Ohio State University.

Dr Ivan Terziev was born in 1961. He graduated in Medicine in 1987 from the Medical University of Sofia and obtained a specialty in Pathology and Cytology in 1991. Dr Terziev has been working at Tsaritsa Yoanna ISUL University Hospital since 1988, and he is also an Assistant professor of Pathology at the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria. Dr Terziev is a member of Bulgarian and European Society of Pathology and Bulgarian-Turkish group on Diseases of Thyroid and Breast. He has numerous publications in Bulgarian scientific journals, as well as more than 20 papers in reputed international ones. Colleen Huber is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor in private practice in Tempe, Arizona. She is Co-Founder and Secretary of the American Naturopathic Research Institute/Naturopathic Oncology Research Institute (ANRI / NORI). She is a Fellow of the Naturopathic Oncology Research Institute. She is a credentialed physician at Plaza Healthcare in Scottsdale, AZ, a 179-bed in-patient, sub-acute facility, where she practices up to the full-scope of practice for naturopathic physicians licensed in Arizona. She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe. Her academic writing has appeared in The L ancet and other medical journals.

Dr. Herbst is Ensign professor of medicine, professor of pharmacology, chief of medical oncology, and associate director for translational research at Yale Cancer Center and Yale School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians and an elected member of the Association of American Physicians. Dr. Herbst is a pioneer of personalized medicine and immunotherapy to identify biomarkers and bring novel targeted treatments to patients, serving as principal investigator for trials leading to approval of several therapies revolutionizing the field. He has authored more than 300 publications. The NCI Lung SPORE he leads has identified new mechanisms of sensitivity and resistance to immunotherapy. His work on Lung MAP, has galvanized the field by developing public-private partnerships to conduct large clinical studies. Dr. Herbst is a major proponent of tobacco control and regulation (including e-cigarettes), authoring policy statements and leading Capitol Hill briefings.

Dr. Vonderheide, MD, DPhil, is is a distinguished laboratory scientist, clinician, and cancer leader who has deciphered mechanisms of cancer immune surveillance and developed novel cancer immunotherapies such as CD40 agonists with a particular focus on pancreatic cancer. He is a member of the NCI Board of Scientific Advisers, and the AACI and NCCN boards of directors. Funded by the NCI, SU2C-Lustgarten Foundation, and the Parker Institute, Dr. Vonderheide has published senior author manuscripts in Nature, Science, and the New England Journal of Medicine. Dr. Vonderheide has a long-standing commitment to AACR and is chair of the Program Committee for the 2023 AACR Annual Meeting.
